Do you have a project or program that nobody has time to write or finish? Do you need a custom software application or website? I can help. All work will be performed personally by me, not other contractors. I can gather your requirements via any communication method you prefer (in-person consultations must take place in the Milwaukee area, 1 hour minimum). Use me as much or as little as you want, there is no obligation. I have experience and can work with web applications, desktop applications, database programming, mobile applications (Android only), and scripting in both Windows and Unix-like environments. Computer Services (Metro Milwaukee Only)

$50 $40 an hour at your home or business or for pick up and delivery
$40 $30 an hour if you drop your computer off in Greendale, WI

Is your computer acting up? I will come to your home or place of business and fix your computer software or hardware issues. I can also come to your location, pick up your computer, and then deliver it back to you when finished. We can arrange for you to drop off and pick up your computer at my place of residence in Greendale for a cheaper rate. All work carries a 1 hour minimum charge. You are responsible for the actual cost of any computer parts if needed.

A common issue customers ask for my help with is virus removal. Did you know that if your computer has a virus infection and you want a technician to come to your location to remove it that it would cost $199 or even $299 with national retail chain technical support? That is a a decent chunk of change, and technicians with these companies are not required to have computer skills. They follow a script of instructions and often are not competent enough to digress from their instructions if a tricky situation occurs. Often an hour or two is all that is needed to remove a virus, so if you hire me it may only cost $40-$80 for on-site service, plus I can figure out how to remove pesky viruses that virus scanners may have trouble removing. Please note that it is difficult to estimate exactly how long virus removal will take.

I only recommend reinstalling the operating system as a last resort for virus removal unless if that is what you request since I know what a pain it can be to setup everything on your computer again. I can be as communicative as you want about what I am doing to your computer while on-site so that you have a good understanding of the situation. For drop-offs I never take any drastic actions (such as an operating system reinstall) without your permission.

Payment is accepted through cash, check, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover). Credit cards can be swiped via a card reader connected to my smartphone. Digital receipts can be emailed to you.
